A forecasting funnel is a perfect example of what happens when you have research done on your topic and you ask questions pertaining to where your topic will be in the future. We asked various questions and what we believe can happen to computing in different scenarios it may be in. We identified weak signals and other broad topics that can affect computing in the future and moved on to looking for patterns and other points of conflicts. We then further asked questions based on the patterns and issues we found and went on to identify the changes that may need to be made to our topic. We finally looked at scenarios that lead to a desirable future in computing and all the possible ways to get there.
